The Karnataka ICSE Schools Association was established in the year 2009, under the dynamic leadership of Rev. Dr. Father Jose Aikara. Father believed that like-minded CISCE Affiliated Schools in Karnataka should collaborate to form an Association .

to discuss issues pertaining to the day-to-day activities of affiliated schools and the Board in general. This Association in turn would provide an ideal platform to brace and empower the Head of the Institution who is the principal of the school.

Membership to KISA (Karnataka ICSE schools Association) is granted to the school and ONLY the Principal of the school would represent her/his school as a member and on completing all registration formalities.

The Association would help upskill the teaching faculty and design a yearly common calendar. Furthermore, it would enable the schools to organize and execute various competitions for the students of the member schools.

Fifty Affiliated schools sought membership from the association in 2009 and today the Association stands tall with over 300 members and is still growing.

The principals of member schools meet once in three months to discuss on various issues pertaining to education, legal matters and with regard to the day-to-day challenges of a school. Matters pertaining to the Karnataka Education Act, State Government Portal SATS, Central Government Portal U-DISC, RTE, NEP, CISCE examinations, annual matters pertaining to the National Chapter ASISC, List of competitions that would be conducted by KISA are discussed in the meetings competitions and also matters pertaining to the national Body that is ASISC –India.
